My recent stay at 2 Bathsheba Terrace was a delightful experience, reminiscent of my past travels through the Middle East but with a distinctly British touch. The terraced house offered a homely vibe, perfect for a Christmas getaway with friends, providing a fresh supply of essentials right from the get-go. With its large walk-in shower and an exceptionally comfortable mattress in the main bedroom, I felt rejuvenated after long days exploring the surroundings. Located just a leisurely walk from Dorchester and near the Bakers Arms, it was a great base for our little adventures-though I did miss having a local food option nearby. The quiet residential area lent itself well to reflect on my archaeological pursuits. Ample parking at the back was a bonus, as well. If you fancy a bit of outdoor activity after sifting through history in your travels, you can conveniently engage in golfing, fishing, or cycling right in the vicinity.
